Barry mining safety fence: Where durability meets efficiency
Barry mining safety fence: Where durability meets efficiency
Today, we would like to present you one of our most popular products that we have been manufacturing and selling for more than 20 years now, the mining safety fence.
This fence offers exceptional advantages over the various products that are available for these types of applications. Historically and still today, some underground mines will use polypropylene or polyethylene snow fencing, but these types of fences, although they have their applications, tend to be weak when there are blasting sessions and will be damaged more quickly.
Our product is more resilient and is able to survive blasting sessions more effectively and over a longer period of time. During a blast the fence will deform and will likely be damaged, however it will remain visible and in place, giving it a considerable time-saving advantage for restarting mining operations.
The personnel responsible for verifying operational safety can quickly locate where blasting has occurred, and where this fence has been installed. As a result, they can reduce costs, be more efficient and increase the safety of the operation. This is a product that has seen great success over the years in the Canadian mining industry, as well as worldwide.
Due to its significance to our clients, this is a product that we always keep in stock. We have 2 colours in addition to our classic fluorescent orange: red and yellow.
If you are interested in trying them out in your mine or in an industrial sector, do not hesitate to contact us, we will be happy to send you samples and more information.
