The Barry D.E.W. Line® Rescue Hoist Kit is a self-contained and easily deployed system designed to be used in combination with Barry's Lineman Rescue Kit or alone as a short or long-haul system.
Rescue methods
- Mode 1: Short distance lifting/hauling system for unhooking a victim from their fall protection equipment before lowering them to the ground
- Mode 2: Stand-alone rescue hoist system for rescues at medium lift heights (max 50' reach).

These kits are available in any length required. The length is determined by the height of the potential rescue and the method of rescue being performed.
No, this product is sold as a finished rope, with sealed terminations at each end.
This is done in-house at Barry’s facility to ensure the integrity and insulating properties of the overall system. They are individually labeled with date and serial #.
These can sometimes be repaired on a case-by-case basis.
