The 12-strand Dyneema® fiber rope (UHMWPE) yields the maximum in strength-to-weight ratio and is stronger than wire rope constructions. It floats, offers superior flexibility and stands up well to intensive use.

Specifications

  • 15x Stronger than a steel cable of the same diameter (weight per weight ratio)
  • Extremely light (1/7th weight of steel cable)
  • High abrasion, fatigue and wear resistant
  • Flexible, easily to splice and handle
  • Excellent UV and chemical resistance
  • Heat resistance (short-term): 70°C (158°F)
  • Similar elastic elongation to wire rope
  • Easily inspected 
  • Hydrophobic and Floats
  • Torque-free
  • Standard colors: Orange, green, white, blue (other colors may be available upon request)
